Can I check in early or drop my bags off early?
Yes. We offer an optional early check-in / bag drop from 2pm but this does incur a £50 extra charge. This is to help cover our additional costs getting the studio ready in time. You can add this on at the time of placing a booking or amend your booking to include it later.
What time can I check in?
Our standard check in time is 4pm unless you decide to go for early check in which is 2pm. As much as we’d like to meet you we are often away from the city so we leave guests to check in by themselves. There is an automatic key lock beside the front door and we will email you an entry code ahead of your arrival to make things as easy as possible. This also means you can check in at time you like.
Can I check out late?
No. Unfortunately, we cannot offer late check out as the next guests may be checking in early and we need the full time to get the studio perfect each time.
Is there any parking nearby?
Yes. There is plenty of on-street parking near the studio but it is quite an expensive area as it’s in the oldest part of the city. The street parking is free every day from 6:30pm to 08:30am and all day Sunday. You can search the available streets and costs on Edinburgh Council’s parking map - link here. For longer stays you may want to consider the NCP Car Park at Castle Terrace or parking in a free zone such as Morningside and walking or catching a bus or taxi to the studio.

Yes. We do allow photoshoots but only with prior notification. We have various rates depending on the season and availability, length of photoshoot and whether it’s for a local business. Please send us an email for more information.

Can I bring my dog?
No. Unfortunately we do not allow guests to bring their dogs or pets with them given the nature of the wall and fabric finishes. We’re really sorry about this as we know they are apart of your family - our next place will be pet friendly!
Can I bring my baby / toddler?
Yes. We are very happy for you to bring your baby or toddler but you will need to bring a cot or let them sleep in the bed with you. Please also note that the studio has been designed for adult use and has not specifically been made child-friendly.
